Site and context:
The project is to design a new CRISIS office in Croydon. The CRISIS is an organisation that helps the homeless people to learn the knowledge and skills in order to get the jobs in future. It also provides hostels to allow the homeless people to live in.
Research and program:
According to the research, our design group had found out that most of the homeless people had mental issues leading to the situation of being expelled from the family or jobs. As this kind of problem happened, we thought using plants and pets might cure them in mental issues.
Design strategy:
Flowers and pets are the main ideas that construct the entire design. Some leaves or flowers can be cooked into tea, and the others can heal the homeless people by using the fragrance. Pets are the friends that always interact with the humans, they can heal mental issues in some ways. For example, talking or playing with the pets allow the positive thoughts to be transferred the humans.
