Statement:

Democracy stands for the idea of freedom and equality between people itself or a system of governments. Nowadays, news is everywhere and they always play the role of seekers. News can easily separate out different perspectives of views in a short amount of time and in an effective way. However, it pushes people to use subjective ways to look at certain cases, this issue leads to the problem of unbalances.
Design strategy:

Chair - Using chairs as a symbol of democracy's frame and the newspaper in between the frames are the symbol of unbalanced power that support the people to pick the side to stand on. The sitting surface is designed with tension by stacking the newspapers in a staged way to form a platform for people to sit on. The shape of frames are designed in trapezoid shape to concrete the idea of unbalanced in the ideology of democracy.
